Mr. Nawal Mustafs lives in 8 rajabiya alley from Darb Shoghlan Street. She is one of the owners of houses whose roof top has been planted. This lady is also interested in agriculture in its broader terms, as she started the roof top plantation of her property since the beginning of the first stage of this act with Al-Darb Al-Ahmar revitalization project, and she continued with us until the end of the second phase of the project.

Mrs. Nawal planted most of the types of varieties that are grown, such as ” tomatoes – zucchini – turnips – mint – onions – thyme – peas – mallow – radish – arugula and others. These products created savings for her family income and expenses. Through her practice she is convinced that these products of roof top plantation are neither chemical fertilizers free nor poisonous chemical insecticides. It is 100% organic healthy products. That is generally a value added to family health.

When she started her roof top plantation act, since 2010, and up till now she is acting as a role model for the rest of participants and project’s beneficiaries. Other project beneficiaries frequently visit her to gain experience and to consult with her developing his/her roof top plantation act.
